Hi my name is Tayzia. Im freshman. As you may read on in my blog you will see that im not very good at writing poetry. Ive never really been the one to be into this kind of stuff but i try.

My favorite poem was A Life Well Lived. This is my favorite poem because I can tell about someone that has passed in my life and i can dedicate this poem to them.

trips

In the car for two hours legs cramped
family trip to Evansville Indiana
the smell of the air from the river front
the sound of the river as it flows
the sun just as it hits the water
the sunset

Maybe God said your time was do
but when you left i screamed and boo-hoo'd
ill see you again when my time is through
but for now when i see a rose ill think of you

If I could find the word to describe how I feel about you it would go something like this

When I see you I feel like my whole days going to go great.

When you smile everyone else does to because everyone feeds off of you vibe.

When I look into your eyes I see something that I don’t think anyone can.

When we huge I feel comfort.

 When we kiss it sends a cold shiver down my back.

The first time we made love you stole apart of me that I know I could never get back.

You stole my heart.

And I know you don’t want it because you always throw it down and stomp on it.

But for some reason I always pick it back up and give right back to you.

Just a everyday thing

Every morning on a weekday I wake up to my alarm sounding

I get up yawn and stretch as the birds sing

Then I go to the bathroom and wash my face and brush my teeth

Soon after I’m in the shower

Its just a everyday thing

I get dressed and off to school I go

Walk to the bus stop and wait to be taken to school

I arrive at school and at that moment my day begins

Dystopian Novel

Dystopian is an imaginary place where everything is as bad as is can be. Matched is a dystopian novel because it is about a place where everything is controlled by someone and they have to live they way they are told. In Matched there is a girl named Cassiea who has been matched with this boy named Xander. In the book management chosses they perason they are sapose to be married to, when they can leave the house, etc.

bullying

Yesterday me and the rest of my english class watched a movie about this kid being bullyed. In the movie there was a boy named Jami who was open about being homosexual. Ever since he was in the middle school he had been picked on because of this reason. He told the teachers and the principle about his fellow students picking on him but they only said boys will be boys and sent him on his merry way. He  became to scared to go to school and ran away from home. He finally took the situation to court where he suied his school for not protecing him while he was attending school. He won the case and to many people it was relief because they felt that if spoke out that they could to.

Sexual Harassment

In the book "Twisted" George Washington High School had a clothing optional day. In the book the girls whore clothing that showed alot of skin. The girls were getting mad because the boys were making sexual remarks. Many girls walk around with their boobs hanging out or their butt hanging out of the bottem of thier shorts, or skiirts. Being any reqular teenage guy their bound to say a crude/sexual remark. I feel dont want them to say any harmful then you shouldnt wear anything like that out where there are guy. If you allow yourself to wear these type of cloths then you shouldnt complain about the guys looking at you.

Cyber Bulling

A few days ago we had a guest spearker named Josh Gunderson. The speaker reached topics as sexting, cyber bullying, and telling to much information in the internet(facebook). Everyday we teens spend about 93min a day on facebook. Many of us reveal alot of personal info. We often talk to people we dont know and tell them our personal info such as our name and where we live. We update statuses on where we are going when we'll get back and usually if we have the house alone. Josh told me and mthis year and y peers about this girl who was new at school and one of the most populer guys asked her out to the dance. The other girls at school didnt understand why the popular guy asked her and not them so they began bullyig  her sending her really nasty txt messgaes and calling her phone with nasty comments. The girl soon got tierd of it and decided to take her own life. In the book "Twisted" the main characters name is Tyler. Tyler has also been a victum of bullying. In the story he states that he is a waste of human flesh and he wishes someone would take his life.When you are a victum of bullying you should not respond to what he/she might say, block the bully on facebook, talk to a trusted adult, and not retaliat. http://www.haveyoumetjosh.com/

                   Tyler Miller is the main character in the book "Twisted". Tyler is a senior at George Washington High School. Tyler spent his summer doieng work for the school to pay off the damages after he grifittied his school. Tyler is depressed because he likes this girl named Betthany he thinks he might not like him back. His father works for his crushes father and his mom is an alicholic. He has a bad reputation people use to call him a nerd but that changed after he was arrested. Most of the student body keeps their distance another part gasp as he walk through the halls and another part is all thumbs up and gives him high fives as he walks through the hall, and now his sister is starting high school with him this year how is that gone turn out.
